SKUP report of MF-68 SARS-CoV-2 Ag Test
SKUP is a Scandinavian group that performs independent evaluations of the analytical quality and user-friendliness of laboratory equipment and rapid tests used in point of care testing (POCT).
The report from the SKUP evaluation of MF-68 SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test is now published on www.skup.org. The evaluation was performed in a test centre using nasal swabs from 321 patients. The overall diagnostic sensitivity was 70 %, which did not meet the WHO recommendation of at least 80 %. The overall diagnostic specificity was 98,2 %, which met the WHO recommendation of at least 97 %. The user-friendliness was deemed satisfactory.
